“DIVERSITY BOOST” Project is APPROVED by the Danish NA – UFM

"Innovative Learning System for the development of Soft skills” is focused on Diversity Management in small and medium enterprises and social inclusion through training in diversity management at the organization (DIVERSITY BOOST). The project has been positively evaluated by the Danish National Agency (Erasmus+ Programme) - Ministry of Education and Science of Denmark.

Diversity is a condition, which undoubtedly enriches the human being. Moreover, these various human characteristics are significant within a company, any other organization or group, and must be taken into account in order adequate management to be accomplished of all human resources of the business and a working atmosphere of integration and equal opportunities to be created. These characteristics are perceived as essential for the daily working atmosphere in order to avoid conflicts that could be fueled by these differences. Additionally, the diversity of individuals could be turned into a competitive advantage for the company.

In an increasingly globalized society, meeting the challenge of diversity management and offering tools and resources for the small entrepreneurs, to turn it into a competitive advantage, become an essential part for the businesses. Moreover, helping people who are part of these organizations and the diverse people to develop the skills needed to optimize results and make diversity an ally is one of the priorities of the Erasmus Programme.

The target group of the project is:
• Entrepreneurs, small entrepreneurs and small business managers
• Workers, members of potentially "diverse" working groups
• Vulnerable people for belonging to a group potentially discriminated by their culture, religion, sexual orientation, etc. ("Various" people)

The objective of the project would be the creation of innovative, multilingual and inclusive learning tools in key competencies for socio-educational and personal development. Additionally, the project would involve integration and participation in civic and social life and employment with the main focus on managing diversity in working environments, organizations and more specifically at employers, workers and members of vulnerable groups.

Specific objectives:

OBJECTIVES FOCUSED ON ENTREPRENEURS AND DIRECTORS OF COMPANIES:

1.1: Determine the basics for working in Diversity: Diversity management, integration, inclusion, among others.
1.2: Raise awareness among employers about the importance and benefits of managing diversity and the inclusion of employees of small and medium-sized enterprises.
1.3: Training programs for entrepreneurs in order to create diverse effective teams and to manage diversity and achieve effective inclusion of workers.
1.4: Provide tools for entrepreneurs to create effective work teams with diverse people and to promote team diversity management.
1.5: Provide real testimonials that practically manifest the objectives described above.

OBJECTIVES DIRECTED TO MEMBERS OF THE DIFFERENT WORKING GROUPS.

2.1: Determine the basics for working in Diversity: Diversity management, integration, inclusion, among others.
2.2: Raising awareness among the members of the working group on the importance and benefits of managing diversity and the inclusion of employees of small and medium-sized enterprises.
2.3: Train the group members or employees of the company (including middle managers, group managers) to manage diversity and achieve effective inclusion of workers.
2.4: Provide tools for team members to manage diversity and achieve better results thanks to their diverse nature.
2.5: Provide real testimonials that practically manifest the objectives described above.

OBJECTIVES DIRECTED TO DIVERSE OR VULNERABLE PEOPLE.

3.1: Determine the basics for working in Diversity Team: Diversity Management, Integration, Inclusion, among others. Discuss and determine the individual contributions that various people can make to the group (sensitivities, views, skills and skills, their experiences).
3.2: Identify what competencies of the diverse individual can be valuable in the working group.
3.3: Promote inclusion in the group so that the person with diversity feels comfortable and integrated into the work environment.
3.4: To train the members of the working group so that they can work in a diverse environment and achieve the effective inclusion of participants.
3.5: To provide tools for workers, members of the group, to work in effective groups with diverse people and to promote team diversity management.
3.6: Provide real testimonials that practically manifest the objectives described above.

To achieve these objectives, the Project aims to build three products that will be designed as follows:

Intellectual Output 1.- Generating Entrepreneurship Opportunities Managing Diversity.
Intended for Entrepreneurs.
Aimed at Entrepreneurs and Business Managers.
Beneficiary Groups: People with different races and cultures and people with different sexual orientations.

Intellectual Output 2.- Generating Diverse High-Performance Teams.
Intended for workers and members of the task team.
Beneficiary Groups: The people who work in the company.

Intellectual Output 3.- Generating Diverse People of High Performance.
Intended for diverse persons or subjects of diverse or vulnerable groups.
Beneficiary Groups: People of different cultures and races, and people with different sexual orientations.
