Together with M4Pris team we are Strengthening Professional Support for Prison Staff Across Europe!
BrainLog team is proud to share highlights from the Final Transnational Project Meeting of the M4Pris project – Peer Mentoring for Prison Staff in Europe, which took place in Nyborg, Denmark, on 17 June 2025.

This event marked the culmination of two years of collaboration and innovation aimed at improving professional development for prison staff across Europe.
Hosted by BrainLog and the Danish Prison Officers Union ( Fængselsforbundet i Danmark), the TPM brought together representatives from all partner organizations: Aproximar (Portugal), SNPP Filiala Iași (Romania), Athens Lifelong Learning Institute (Greece), Vis Juventum (Romania) and KU Leuven (Belgium).
During the meeting, partners discussed the final project results, reflected on the piloting of peer mentoring programmes across partner countries, and shared strategic approaches to strengthen continuous vocational education for prison staff.
A special thanks goes to our partners: the Danish Prison Officers Union (Fængselsforbundet i Danmark) for their hospitality and for facilitating the hosting of the TPM within the premises of Nyborg High Security Prison—a truly unique setting that brought the project’s context to life.
In the afternoon, BrainLog organized a cultural visit to Nyborg Destilleri, where participants were welcomed for an engaging lecture and guided tour explaining the whiskey and gin production process, followed by a tasting session. This experience offered a warm cultural close to an intensive day of project discussions.
The TPM successfully reinforced the project’s goals and ensured that the final outputs and dissemination plans are aligned with EU values on upskilling and retaining staff in justice institutions.
