The journey towards reshaping correctional competencies and fostering professional excellence in the correctional sector has officially begun! The RESIZE Project, a groundbreaking initiative bringing together 24 organizations from 15 European countries, successfully launched its implementation phase during the first Transnational Partnership Meeting in Timișoara, Romania. This collaborative effort is set to enhance the skills and professional development of correctional staff across Europe under the LiberateSkills Pact – a Lifelong Learning European Pact for Correctional Excellence.

With this successful kick-off meeting, the RESIZE Project is now set in motion, paving the way for innovative approaches in training, upskilling, and reskilling correctional professionals. The coming months will focus on the development of comprehensive training materials, workshops, and best-practice exchanges to ensure the highest level of professionalism and competence in the correctional field.
Through RESIZE, we are actively contributing to European efforts in building a skilled workforce under the LiberateSkills Pact. This initiative strengthens cross-border collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing, ensuring that correctional professionals across Europe have the tools and expertise needed to meet modern challenges effectively.
