Recently, BrainLog had the privilege of joining forces with leading voices in correctional innovation at Inspirational Session #3 of the RESIZE Project – Reshaping Correctional Competencies through RESCALED Innovation, co-funded by the European Union.
The event was organized on May 29th with the title “Staff Profiles and Relational Security,” offered a compelling space for professional exchange, reflection, and learning.
It was a pleasure to have two outstanding trainers:
Tamara Höfer shared real-world insights from her work as a prison officer in England & Wales, shedding light on the evolving role of staff in modern detention settings.
Laura Verstraete introduced the concept of relational security—focusing on human connection, trust-building, and inspiring best practices to support safety and rehabilitation.
Experts from across Europe took part of the event and thanks to their attendance the session fostered meaningful dialogue, interactive learning, and a shared commitment to innovation in correctional training.
As an active partner in the RESIZE project, BrainLog remains committed to championing forward-thinking approaches in correctional environments. We believe that nurturing relational dynamics is essential for building safer, more humane, and effective justice systems.
